In 2020, Lee-ann created ONE VOICE - a website narrating her own journey of childhood sexual abuse from the age of four - Her way of reaching out to other survivors - validating that carrying the shame of abuse is not our responsibility, but that healing is, in the hope of bringing much-needed awareness about the many taboo subjects surrounding abuse, generational trauma, suicide, and mental illness.

During that time, Lee-ann was also fighting an unjust immigration matter with the Australian Government which ultimately resulted in her experiencing loss of human rights, homelessness, and being granted 28 days to depart Australia (2014). She returned to England with a three year ban placed on her. In all that time, away from her four children, she never gave up fighting for justice. In 2018, she returned to Australia, appealed her case at Tribunal and her case was referred for Ministerial Intervention. The Minister's decision in 2021 was not in her favour as she did not have the astronomical funds to pay for a Contributory Parent Visa after Home Affairs had placed her on a No Work Bridging Visa in 2019, and this visa offered no stability as it would leave Lee-ann on a Bridging Visa for the next 50 years.

So,
ONE VOICE then became more focused on her fight for justice.

"There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest."
